When Avid released Pro Tools 8, they did a total redesign of Pro Tools’ graphic interface. At that time I noticed that waveforms were being presented differently than previous versions. Last week I was at a friend’s studio and noticed that his waveforms looked different than mine. He didn’t know why. Well, this video explains it. Pro Tools will now allow you to change the way waveforms are viewed. There are several different view options, each with benefits for different applications. Check it out.
